About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Housekeeper, you will: Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards Notify supervisor or manager on any damages, deficits and disturbances Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
At least 1 year of housekeeping experience.
Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
Notify supervisor or manager on any damages, deficits and disturbances
Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies
Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
