About The Position

River Hospital is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Environmental Services team working full-time. Starting pay is based on direct Hospital based Housekeeping experience. Job Purpose Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment. Performs environmental duties in accordance with established standards and regulations. Provides and or distributes clean linen supplies.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Basic language and communication skills necessary.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and adjust easily to new ideas and changes.
• It is the employee’s responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession.
• It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue.
• The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience in housekeeping, janitorial experience, or healthcare environmental services but willing to train the right candidate.
