About The Position

The primary purpose of the Automotive Housekeeper position is to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment within the dealership or service center. This includes cleaning and sanitizing customer areas, offices, restrooms, and vehicle showrooms. The Automotive Housekeeper plays a key role in creating a positive and professional atmosphere, enhancing the customer experience, and supporting the dealership’s operations by ensuring that the facilities are always presentable, hygienic, and comfortable for both customers and staff.

Requirements

  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Works independently and as part of the team
  • Prioritizes tasks and completes daily log to the required standard and in a timely manner
  • Good customer service and desire to serve others
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements and how to follow product safety
  • 2 years experience of previous commercial or domestic cleaning

Responsibilities

  • Complete cleaning tasks allocated to the required standard and in accordance with the agreed work schedule.
  • Routinely check communal areas throughout the day to make sure they are clean, well presented and all outstanding cleaning has been completed.
  • Use all equipment and products according to guidance and maintain and store correctly.
  • Complete and maintain records as required.
  • Report immediately any faulty equipment, damaged furniture, or any other potential hazards to your manager.
  • Daily task list to keep clean/sanitized: Coffee/Refreshment station; Vending machines; Water fountains; Windows (inside and outside, including window sills); Customer lobby/waiting area (chairs, tables); Employee break rooms (tables and chairs); Offices (desks, chairs, doors); Parts lobby floors, doors and counter; BDC doors, phones, glass/windows, and desks; Showroom and Sales Tower glass, desks, phones, tables, chairs, counter, door handles; trash and recycling if full.
