About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Housekeeper who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Housekeeper you will: Provide a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors through the effective and efficient performance of assigned environmental services functions and tasks. Works with other departments to assist with extra cleaning duties as they arise. Assists with maintenance of supplies in housekeeping and notifies supervisor when refill orders are needed. Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards Notify supervisor or manager on any damages, deficits and disturbances Keeping bathrooms stocked with supplies Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Able to work quickly without compromising quality
  • Advanced knowledge of cleaning products
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and dedication to team environment
  • Ability to work with diverse communities
  • A high school diploma or GED is highly desired, but not required
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience. Ability to communicate at a level, which allows for safe and efficient job performance.
  • Ability to utilize supplies, tools and equipment safely and properly.
