Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • No experience necessary, but preferred
  • Will provide on-the-job training
  • Demonstrates respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence
  • Commitment to person-centered care practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
  • Observe waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
  • Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunction to supervisor
  • Report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor
  • Dispense soap, paper and housekeeping supplies, as necessary
  • Follow all infection control procedures in accordance with Frederick Living policy
  • Attend in-service programs, complete assigned online courses
  • Follow and maintain the Q.A. program as defined by supervisor
  • Record daily resident interactions when performing duties in Cedarwood
  • Abide by the organization’s code of conduct in the performance of their duties
  • Perform other related duties as required
