ELS is hiring for the position of Housekeepers $16-18 an hour based on experience-2 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Housekeeper - Be part of our Shine Squad! What You’ll Do Our Housekeepers help keep the resort clean, welcoming, and ready for our guests to enjoy. This role is essential in maintaining our five‑star standards across cabins, common areas, and public spaces. As a part‑time Housekeeper, you’ll support the property with routine cleaning tasks, guest turnover, and light operational support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1–3 years of housekeeping experience is helpful, but we will train the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and proper sanitation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and carrying items.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance (if operating resort vehicles).
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable, positive, and hardworking.
  • Takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces.
  • Friendly and respectful when interacting with guests and coworkers.
  • Able to follow routines, meet quality standards, and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Clean cabins and rentals to prepare for new guest arrivals.
  • Clean the resort office, clubhouse, bathhouses, and public access areas including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas to meet resort standards.
  • Assist with cleaning following resort events, activities, or guest functions.
  • Track and restock cleaning supplies; notify the Lead or Manager when inventory is low.
  • Report maintenance issues or repair needs in cabins, bathhouses, or public areas.
  • Provide support to maintenance staff or other team members when needed.
  • Drive a motorized vehicle or golf cart to run errands or pick up supplies (if applicable).
  • Help ensure a clean, safe, and positive environment for guests and residents.
  • Interact with guests politely and professionally.
  • Assist the Resort Manager in responding to guest needs with patience and care.
  • Address guest concerns with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
