About The Position

The Housekeeper @ The Fountains of Melbourne keeps the community in a clean and sanitary condition, providing a healthy environment that contributes to the care and welfare of residents and guests. Delivers exemplary customer service with attention to detail and promoting a warm, secure and friendly environment.
This is a part-time position with a base of 5 hours per week. You’ll also have the opportunity to pick up additional hours as needed, on a flexible, on-call basis.

Requirements

• High school graduate preferred
• Six months to one year of housekeeping experience
• Experience working in a senior environment preferred :
• Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned apartments, community rooms and more
• Carry linens, towels and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
• Change bed linens
• Assist with resident and community laundry as directed
• As well as perform other related duties as required
