Housekeeper in SoHo Night shift
About The Position
A private residence in New York City/SoHo is seeking an experienced Temporary Housekeeper to provide evening coverage for approximately 2 -3 weeks while the primary housekeeper is away. The home is occupied by two adults and operates with a house manager and private chef. The environment is relaxed yet maintained to a high standard, requiring a candidate who is detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable working within an established team. The candidate should be friendly, hardworking, and can read the room. This role focuses on evening service and maintaining the home in excellent condition at the end of each day. You The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, attentive to detail, and comfortable with light pet care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of full time experience in a private household
- Experience working in staffed homes and taking direction from a house manager
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
- Comfortable working independently during evening hours
- Dog friendly with experience handling multiple dogs
- Professional, discreet, and reliable
Responsibilities
- General housekeeping and daily upkeep of a four story, three bedroom townhouse
- Laundry and garment care with high attention to detail
- Evening reset of the home including organization and light turn down service
- Assist with at least one short outing for two dogs
