About The Position

As a Housekeeper at Brio Living Services, you’ll help create a clean, welcoming environment where residents truly feel at home. In this role, you’ll keep resident rooms, common areas, offices, and hallways fresh, safe, and comfortable by performing daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, restocking supplies, and following established housekeeping schedules using the WorxHub system. Your attention to detail and friendly service will support the health and well-being of our residents and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment where everyone works together to provide excellent service.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in a long-term care facility or medical environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to keep spaces looking fresh and welcoming.
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs and mop floors throughout resident rooms and common areas.
  • Clean resident rooms, recreational areas, offices, and hallways according to established housekeeping standards.
  • Change bed linens and make beds to ensure residents have a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Empty trash containers and properly dispose of waste in designated areas.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and dining surfaces, including appliances and utensils as needed.
  • Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products throughout assigned areas.
  • Maintain organized storage areas for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
