About The Position

A Sun Valley Resort Housekeeper plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and
comfortable environment for guests by maintaining clean, sanitary, and
well-presented guest rooms and public spaces. This position ensures that each
guest enjoys a “home-away-from-home” experience through attention to detail,
consistency, and pride in high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Requirements

• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching
• Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide daily housekeeping services for hotel rooms and condominiums, including making beds, changing linens, emptying trash, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and thoroughly cleaning bathrooms
• Perform turndown service as assigned to enhance the guest experience
• Clean and maintain public and communal areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Collect, sort, and transport linens according to established procedures
• Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping closets and supply areas
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Follow all housekeeping standards, safety guidelines, and sanitation procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations
