POSITION SUMMARY: Maintains facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient care and staff work. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties that may include dusting, washing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment, sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors, gathering and disposing of refuse; arranging furniture and performing similar tasks. May also perform minimal laundry duties. This position is Full Time, 80 hours every 2 weeks, 4pm - 12:30am
Requirements
- Cleaning experience desirable, but not required. On-the-job training provided.
- Must have ability to plan and organize scheduled work.
- Must be able to speak English to the extent needed for training, safety, and co-worker communication.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition
- Dusting, washing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors
- Gathering and disposing of refuse
- Arranging furniture
- Performing minimal laundry duties
