About The Position

Performs daily cleaning tasks for patients and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned by the Environmental Services Department. SHIFT AND SCHEDULE Fulltime, 3:00pm to 11:00pm

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Prior equivalent work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related position is a plus.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• The individual must be able to: Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff.
• The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.

Responsibilities

• Has customer service knowledge skills
• Knows trash removal process
• Knows room cleaning process
• Knows on different types of cleaning such as daily, discharge, terminal and isolation
• Knows how to clean restrooms in public areas versus patient rooms including showers
• Has office cleaning experience
