About The Position
Hampton Inn Broussard Lafayette Area in Broussard, LA is seeking two dedicated housekeepers to join our 15-person strong team. The ideal candidates will be self-starters who are punctual and reliable, contributing to the cleanliness and overall guest experience at our hotel. As a housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene that our guests expect. Your responsibilities will include a variety of cleaning tasks that ensure our facilities are welcoming and comfortable for all visitors. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing excellent service. In this role, you will be responsible for sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and vacuuming floors, as well as shampooing carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed. You will also be tasked with emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste in designated areas, while maintaining health and sanitary requirements throughout the hotel. The ability to manage your time effectively is essential to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner, contributing to the smooth operation of our housekeeping department. We value excellent communication skills, as you will need to listen effectively to instructions and collaborate with your team members. The ability to work quickly and efficiently under minimal supervision is also important, as you will often be working independently to complete your assigned tasks.
