About The Position

The Housekeeper performs general housekeeping duties within assigned areas such as patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, etc. This role involves direct contact with patients, the general public, and staff to provide clean and sanitary conditions throughout all areas of Trinity Health. Housekeepers will follow appropriate cleaning procedures, work patterns, and area assignments. They will adhere to the required procedures for cleaning or handling objects/materials in accordance with applicable standards or Trinity Health's Exposure Control Plan for bloodborne pathogens.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Prior commercial or health care cleaning experience preferred, but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods, and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
