The Housekeeping position provides a full-service daily clean of hotel rooms at Mountain Creek Resorts Appalachian Hotel. This includes daily cleaning of one, two and three-bedroom townhouses and condominiums.
Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure guest rooms and bathrooms meet hotel standards.
Clean pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen appliances.
Restock all guest room supplies, like soap and shampoo.
Report to the supervisor or manager any maintenance issues within the rooms.
Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Annual Deep Cleans.
Change linens, make beds, and leave the bathroom sparkling.
Clean patio, deck, and outdoor furniture of the rooms when applicable.
Organize your linen closet, restock your cart, and get ready for the next day before your shift ends each day.
Complete daily room cleaning assignments.
Adhere to hotel cleaning standards as outlined by the management.
Be available to work on a regular basis. Weekends and holidays are mandatory based on seasonality of the hotel.
Previous Housekeeping experience a plus.
Ability to meet the essential functions/responsibilities of the job.
Must be 18 years or older.
This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 50 pounds.
Must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
