About The Position
At Ventana Winds Assisted Living and Memory Care, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for our residents, and we are currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our community, ensuring that our residents feel at home. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning and laundry duties according to a set schedule, which includes daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual tasks. You will be responsible for cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and some building perimeters, following the procedures outlined in our housekeeping manual. In addition to cleaning, you will also be required to complete maintenance work orders as needed and submit them to the front desk. Compliance with all regulations set forth by OSHA and our community policies is essential, as is a thorough understanding of resident rights. The role requires knowledge of cleaning solvents and chemicals, as well as the ability to handle potentially contagious or infectious materials. You must be able to follow cleaning instructions meticulously and adhere to the established cleaning schedule. Being polite, sensitive to residents, and respectful of their personal property and privacy is paramount in this position.
