About The Position
Join our team as a Housekeeper at the Keller Army Community Hospital, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $23.75 - $24.75 per hour and comes with generous benefits, including 11 paid holidays and 11 paid vacation days per year, along with up to 56 hours of paid sick leave annually. Your work will ensure that the hospital remains clean, safe, and sanitary, adhering to the highest standards of infection control and safety. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying various areas, including patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, and offices. You will use cleaning equipment and supplies to sanitize hospital spaces and assist with other cleaning tasks as needed. This role is essential in supporting the cleanliness and hygiene of a facility that serves our nation's heroes, making a significant difference in the lives of those who rely on our services. We are looking for dependable and team-oriented individuals who can follow both written and oral directions. While previous hospital housekeeping experience is preferred, it is not required, as we are willing to train the right candidates. Flexibility in availability is crucial, as you must be willing to work all shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with supervisors and government personnel.
