Requirements
- Room Attendant experience preferably in a hotel/resort environment.
- Possess a strong sense of pride in your work.
- Physically able to perform housekeeping tasks, which require bending, lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods of time.
- Able to respond to guest request courteously and effectively
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people.
- Flexible and able to perform a variety of duties as directed.
- Alert, safety conscious, and pay exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning of assigned rooms to the Canyon Ranch high standard of cleanliness.
- Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using vacuums, cloths, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents by extending arms overhead, bending, and stooping.
- Strip and make beds, change bed linens, and top sheets.
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
- Vacuum entire room and empty the trash, as well as replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in the guests' rooms.
- Periodically, perform a deep cleaning of rooms on an assigned basis.
- Keep armoires orderly at all times.
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and reporting completion of the task list.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed or directed.
- Clean rooms and areas that may have pets or to occasionally clean up after pets.
