About The Position

The Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment. This role supports guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and reliability.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull carts and equipment.
  • Indoor/outdoor work with exposure to cleaning chemicals.
  • Requires weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas.
  • Replenish linens, amenities, and supplies according to standards.
  • Use checklists to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Report repair needs or safety issues to leadership.
  • Maintain communication regarding room status and special requests.
  • Assist coworkers to support team efficiency.
  • Uses phone to track/monitor room cleans through the location's computer program.
  • Perform additional cleaning or operational tasks as needed.
  • Assist other departments during busy periods.
