About The Position

Kahala Nui, considered Hawaii's premier Senior Living Community, is looking for a Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team! POSITIONS SUMMARY: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for seniors attending the day care center. This role includes cleaning and sanitizing activity areas, restrooms, dining spaces, and other shared areas while following health, safety, and infection-control guidelines. The Housekeeper supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of elderly participants and contributes to a positive, hygienic care setting. This is a part-time position, typically scheduled Sunday through Saturday between 12:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Hours may vary based on business needs and operational demands.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalency
1-year previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Proof of annual tuberculosis clearance in accordance with state regulations
Ability to work under minimal supervision with frequent interruptions
Must be available to work varied schedules including evenings and holidays
(Equivalent experience or education may be substituted at the hiring manager’s discretion for educational or work experience requirements)
