About The Position

Responsible for providing housekeeping services to provide a sparkling clean, hygienic and safe environment that is patient and family centered. The position involves routinely cleaning patient’s rooms in a timely manner after discharge of patients, cleaning nursing units, surgical areas, offices, laboratory areas, waiting areas, public restrooms, and other areas as assigned. The housekeeper is also responsible for providing linen services throughout the facility, monitoring the facility with a critical eye to catch those items that need cleaning and attention, and using cleaning supplies and equipment as regulated to provide a safe cleaning environment. Must be able to work with cleaning supplies in a safe manner, able to multi-task with safety practices, and demonstrate Service Excellence at all times.

Requirements

• High School graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills to enter patient room turnover.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in housekeeping.
