About The Position

A private household (elderly couple) in Vermont is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Live-in Housekeeper to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and overall household presentation. This is a unique opportunity to work in a well-managed residence with a principal in occupancy approximately three months per year, offering a balanced and structured work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in private households, luxury hospitality, or similar environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a quieter household setting.
Highly organized, trustworthy, and discreet.
Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and schedules.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have (or able to get) a passport and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties including daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and seasonal upkeep.
Maintain impeccable standards across all living areas, guest spaces, and service areas.
Laundry and wardrobe care, including delicate fabrics and garment organization.
Inventory management of household supplies and linens.
Ensure the residence remains fully prepared for the principal’s arrival at all times.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as required.
Assist with light meal preparation or kitchen support when needed.
Support occasional hosting and guest readiness.
Be available for occasional international travel, if needed.
