We are seeking an experienced and dependable Housekeeping Lead to support overnight environmental services operations at a hospital in Inglewood. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping or environmental services experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of infection control, sanitation practices, and safety standards
- Strong communication, reliability, and leadership skills
- Ability to work overnight hours and be on your feet for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Lead and support overnight housekeeping staff to ensure all areas meet hospital cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and provide on-the-job guidance and support
- Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE in compliance with hospital and safety regulations
- Report maintenance issues, supply needs, and staffing concerns to management
- Serve as a point of contact during the overnight shift and help resolve issues as they arise
