The Housekeeper / Laundry position is responsible for ensuring that work and cleaning schedules are consistently followed. Key duties include providing daily laundry services for assigned homes, which involves collecting, sorting, washing, folding, and delivering linens and clothing, as well as maintaining accurate records of all items. The role also encompasses general housekeeping tasks within resident suites and common areas of assigned homes, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, spot cleaning floors and walls, and safely disposing of trash and waste. The individual will be required to handle chemicals commonly used in laundry and perform custodial duties in the laundry area. Maintaining par levels of supplies, assisting with product ordering, and attending mandatory in-service training programs are also part of the role. Confidentiality of all pertinent resident care information, including protected health information, is a critical aspect of this position.
