About The Position

We are seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to join our team at Optalis of Grand Rapids located at 1950 32nd St SE, Grand Rapids MI, 49508. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our residents and ensuring that all laundry is cleaned and folded properly. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior housekeeping and laundry experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and other designated areas
• Ensure that all laundry is cleaned, folded, and put away properly
• Assist with meal service and clean up as needed
• Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures
• Other duties as assigned
