About The Position

Ensures cleanliness and sanitation across the facility, including offices, production areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and common spaces. Performs a wide range of custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, equipment cleaning, and restocking supplies to ensure a safe and orderly environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; housekeeping/janitorial experience.
Must have English reading, writing and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, write, and understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies, safety manuals and general work order instructions.
Capability to understand routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

Maintains lobby and entrance areas, including windows, glass doors, and tabletops.
Vacuums dust that accumulates throughout the facility.
Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs, offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, and other areas as instructed.
Collects and disposes of trash.
Cleans breakrooms, kitchen areas, and bathrooms throughout the facility, and restocks supplies as necessary.
Wipes down or vacuums machinery and equipment.
Cleans and vacuums dust that accumulates on light fixtures and in high areas.
Sweeps outside immediate entranceways as needed.
Notifies supervisor of damage or repair throughout the facility.
Maintains the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, bathroom supplies, and notifies the supervisor of replenishment.
Works in a safe manner following all departmental and plant safety rules.
Reports any unsafe work conditions to Safety Manager, supervisor, or management.
Other duties as assigned.
