About The Position

Overview: This opening is for our Housekeeper II position. Employees could perform their work at any or all of our locations below depending on their manager's direction. Main Campus 700 Children's Drive Columbus Ohio, 43205 Livingston Ambulatory Center: 380 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, OH 43215 Livingston Orthopedic and Surgery Center: 405 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, OH 43215 Big Lots Behavioral Health Pavilion: 444 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, OH 43215 Conference Center: 520 Butterfly Gardens Drive Columbus, OH 43215 This position is specifically for 3rd Shift. You must be able to work our required schedule of Monday-Friday 10:30pm-7a with rotating weekends and holidays to be considered. Job Description Summary: Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families and customers. Job Description: Essential Functions: Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns. Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards. Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures. Demonstrates proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions. Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition. Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent, required.
  • If position is housed within behavioral health environment, successful completion of TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) requirement is required during orientation process or within 90 days of hire. Must maintain throughout employment.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous housekeeping experience, preferred.
