About The Position

Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) is seeking friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. The role is crucial in ensuring tenants, guests, and vendors have a clean, healthy, and safe environment. The ideal candidate will be polite, respectful, thorough, and observant, always looking for ways to provide the highest level of service.

Requirements

• Willing to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Experience in similar roles using cleaning products, equipment to clean floors and carpets.
• Able to work on a team as well as independently when needed.
• Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Dusting and polishing surfaces throughout the building that include but are not limited to countertops, upholstered furniture, and light fixtures.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans as well as washing and drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages, and needed repairs.
