About The Position

The position involves maintaining the cleanliness of hospital facilities in accordance with hospital, departmental, and regulatory agency requirements. The individual in this role is responsible for providing a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

• Six (6) months housekeeping or maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and restocks all assigned areas according to departmental standards and guidelines.
• Disposes of trash, biomedical, and solid waste materials to appropriate disposal areas.
• Prepares patient rooms for occupancy after patients are discharged.
• Replaces supplies as needed.
• Alerts supervisor of potential problems and safety hazards.
• Performs other related duties as required and directed.
