About The Position
Jupiter Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking dedicated Housekeepers to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Aide is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for both residents and staff. Housekeepers will be expected to follow the rules and instructions provided by the Director of Housekeeping Services, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. The Housekeeping Aide will be responsible for cleaning and polishing furnishings, fixtures, ledges, and room heating/cooling units in restrooms, recreational areas, and other designated spaces daily as instructed. Additionally, the role involves discarding waste and trash in proper containers and relining trash receptacles with plastic liners. It is essential that the Housekeeping Aide ensures that work and cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
