The Housekeeper shall be responsible for cleaning common living areas and resident apartments in the community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing the cleaning of the entire facility, with particular emphasis on the common areas and the apartment bathrooms. The Housekeeper will complete maintenance request reports when needed, report deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to the housekeeping supervisor, and operate the laundry equipment when needed. Additionally, they will report inadequate quantities of all supplies needed to perform duties to the housekeeping supervisor, use only approved cleaning products, and ensure that all cleaning supplies are properly stored at all times. The role also includes cleaning office areas when assigned, dusting and cleaning all window blinds in the community, dusting all furniture, bookshelves, etc. in resident apartments and common areas, vacuuming common areas and resident apartments, keeping common area and resident bathrooms clean, and cleaning apartments at resident move-out. The Housekeeper is expected to attend required in-services and staff meetings, maintain resident privacy/confidentiality at all times, and follow all policies regarding the release of resident information. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
