About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to focus on preparing vacant apartments for new residents and showings. This role is responsible for make-ready cleaning, post-remodel cleanup, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness to ensure apartments are move-in ready and visually appealing.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required
• Comfortable speaking and writing in English
• Able to follow safety and cleanliness procedures
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand for long periods, and handle heavier items as part of daily duties

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, especially in apartment or property management settings
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of vacant apartments prior to showings and move-ins
• Complete “make-ready” cleaning tasks, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms
• Clean apartments following remodeling or maintenance work, removing dust, debris, and construction residue
• Dust all surfaces including baseboards, blinds, fixtures, and appliances
• Vacuum carpets and rugs; sweep and mop hard floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, tubs, and mirrors
• Clean kitchen areas including countertops, cabinets, sinks, and appliances
• Remove trash and ensure proper disposal of waste
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when inventory is low
• Follow company safety guidelines and procedures at all times
