About The Position

The Housekeeper / Floor Tech position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment within the facility. This role involves various cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas, including resident rooms and public restrooms, are properly sanitized and maintained. The position is part-time and focuses on providing high-quality care and cleanliness for residents in a skilled nursing and assisted living facility.

Requirements

• Ability to follow procedures.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting floors in all areas.
• Cleaning resident rooms, including changing linens, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and picking up items.
• Thoroughly cleaning tub rooms and public restrooms.
• Performing basic inspections to identify minor or major maintenance requirements.
• Using and maintaining equipment, cart, and supplies in a proper manner.
