About The Position

The EVS Housekeeper and Floor Technician positions are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in medical facilities. The roles involve cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing spaces used for medical purposes, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff. Candidates are expected to follow daily project assignments and work collaboratively within the healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Experience sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changes in the facility.
• Organizational skills.
• Attention to detail.
• English proficiency.
• 1 year of floor care experience (preferred).
• 1 year of housekeeping experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and other common areas.
• Remove medical waste from surgery and examination rooms.
• Notify managers of necessary repairs or shortages of materials.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Keep foot-traffic areas clear.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Change bedsheets.
• Properly clean furniture.
• Buff, strip, wax, sweep, and mop different floors and areas throughout the hospital.
