About The Position

We’re looking for a hardworking, driven, and passionate candidate to join our team as we get set for further growth in 2026, helping our owners to maintain their high quality properties, and to ensure our guests receive the very best customer service whilst staying with us. Here at Host and Stay we are always looking for a dedicated and friendly person to drive the company vehicle to transport Housekeepers and Linens to their tasks and properties, with additional Housekeeping duties given to help clean and look after our portfolio of properties. Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. You must hold a Full UK Driving Licence, and be able to drive manual vehicles. This is a 25 Hour contract, and to work with us, ideally, we'd need you to be available on our main changeover days, which are Mondays, Fridays and Sundays with weekdays available too. If you have an energetic can do attitude you will be an amazing fit for us. You need to be friendly, flexible and always willing to help. Day to day duties: Support the Housekeeping Managment with the smooth, efficient, and professional operation of housekeeping on a daily basis. Use the company vehicle to transport Housekeeping Staff and linens to their required locations. Be flexible to perform Ad Hoc duties, as and when required to ensure the smooth running of the organisation and to meet the needs of the business, this includes, but not exclusive, to Housekeeping Duties or Property Checks. Review property stock levels and order supplies. Ensure procedures, systems and checks are completed to ensure the high standards expected are being met daily. Supervise the work of the housekeeping and warehouse team to ensure the high standards we set are maintained. Respond appropriately to remedy any customer request or query that may occur in a way that is acceptable for the particular situation. Housekeeping duties: Thoroughly cleaning the properties between guests. This includes but is not exclusive to hoovering, dusting, polishing, tidying etc. The changing of linen between guests. Ensuring and maintaining the presentation of houses for guests and owners. Stock control of household basics/essentials. Reporting any necessary maintenance issues or replacements.
