About The Position

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A HOUSEKEEPER - DAYS! Schedule: 6a - 2:30p, including every other weekend Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? Are you a Housekeeper looking for a rewarding and challenging role in psychiatric care? Chicago Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper provides completes daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk-preventative environment within The Joint Commission, CMS, State, and OSHA standards and regulations.

Requirements

Experience: Preferably one (1) year experience in housekeeping field.
Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient room, office and public areas.
Vacuum, dust, mope, sweep, and take out the trash.
Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the facility.
Clean areas with disinfectants.
Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.)
Assures that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stores when not in use and away from patients access when in use.
