About The Position

Westminster Winter Park, a beautiful lakeside Active Living Community in Winter Park has an open position for a Housekeeper (full time). We are a church related not-for-profit community service organization dedicated and committed to providing services for older adults. This is a full-time position and requires flexibility to work every other weekend. POSITION SUMMARY: The Housekeeper cleans residences; apartments; Health Center rooms and bathrooms and residential common areas.

Requirements

A high school education or equivalent and up to one month related experience or training.

Nice To Haves

Working with older adults in a healthcare setting is desirable, preferably a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

Responsible for cleaning homes, condominiums, studio apartments, health center rooms and common areas.
May work outside in the heat/cold/rain and transfer between buildings.
Responsible for sanitizing Health Center rooms after a move-out or prior to a move-in.
Maintain dinning areas cleaned and sanitized (at least twice daily).
Cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming daily of assigned work areas.
Garbage removal including biohazards removal (by contracted vendor) from the assigned areas.
Cleaning duties/functions as contracted by independent residents.
