About The Position

We ranked in the top 10% of hospitals in Indiana for cleanliness, all due to our outstanding housekeeping staff ! Responsible for transporting items to off-site laboratory service. Ensures an attractive and sanitary environment throughout the entire facility by performing cleaning duties. Performs tasks like: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubing, waxing, and polishing floors; Cleaning sinks, commodes, showers, mirrors, countertops, faucets, handles, showers, shower seats; After dismissal of patient, promptly preparing the room for the next patient; Performing normal cleaning procedures and additionally, washes bed and mattresses; may remake bed after cleaning.

Requirements

• Effectively read, write and speak in the English language
• Six (6) months Housekeeping experience
• Valid drivers license and an acceptable insurable driving record for transport duties

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• One (1) year or more recent healthcare housekeeping experience
