Housekeeper/Cleaner PT
About The Position
The Westfield Area YMCA is looking to hire a part-time Housekeeper/Cleaner to work the following weekend shifts: Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM Responsibilities include, but not limited to: - Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, sanitation and performs basic maintenance repairs, as assigned - Daily cleaning duties (i.e., disinfecting surfaces, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows and trash removal) - Perform facility room setups/breakdowns Pay Range: $16.00-$19.25 per hour, based on years of related experience Benefits: Eligible Employees who meet the requirements are entitled to the following benefits: · Complimentary YMCA membership · Employee referral bonus program · Paid NJ Earned Sick Leave · Short-Term disability benefits · 403b Retirement Savings Account · Discounts on designated child care programs · Discounts with other organizations for just being a Y Employee and MORE! Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must demonstrate a mature, professional attitude in the workplace.
- Must have the ability to speak English and understand both written and verbal communications in English.
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with custodial systems, equipment and chemical usage highly preferred.
