About The Position
The Housekeeper position at Crider Inc. is a vital role focused on maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the facility. This position is responsible for cleaning various areas including offices, bathrooms, break rooms, and kitchens. The housekeeper will ensure that all trash cans are emptied regularly and that the environment remains sanitary and welcoming for all employees. The role requires a proactive approach to cleanliness, including keeping sanitizer and soap dispensers filled and tracking kitchen inventory, which includes dry goods and frozen items. Additionally, the housekeeper will assist with unloading food trucks and properly storing food in designated areas, ensuring that all items are stored correctly to maintain food safety standards. In the absence of key personnel, the trained housekeeper will be expected to fill in and perform necessary duties to ensure continuity of operations. This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Good communication skills are essential for effectively coordinating with other staff members and reporting any issues that may arise during the cleaning process. The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to walk and stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
