About The Position

To provide the medical staff, nursing services, support staff, patient and customers with an adequate supply of clean/functional linen in a timely manner, and a physical environment that is visibly clean and sanitized.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Customer Service Fire and Safety Corporate Compliance Confidentiality Infection Control Education required by regulatory, accreditation bodies, scope of practice, and/or Hancock Regional Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of patient rooms, discharge rooms, exam rooms and utility areas.
• Performs trash and soiled linen removal and distribution of clean linens through the hospital.
• Cleaning of corridors, stairways, and other areas.
• Sets up meeting rooms for various events.
