About The Position
Join Schroeder Moving as a Part-Time Packer! (10-15 hrs/week) Ready to stay active, work with a fun crew, and help people through one of life's biggest moments? Schroeder Moving Systems is looking for energetic, detail-loving Packers to join our team - and we think you might be the perfect fit. As a Packer, you'll be hands-on at customers' homes and businesses, carefully preparing household goods and materials for safe transport. No experience? No problem. We'll train you so you feel confident, capable, and ready to shine. Requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and basic math skills
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver excellent customer service
- Comfortable lifting 10-50 lbs and being on your feet
- Able to read maps and solve everyday problems with confidence
Nice To Haves
- Experience with inventory, equipment care, or data entry is a plus
Responsibilities
- Wrapping and packing fragile and non-fragile items
- Inspecting materials and containers throughout the packing process
- Recording container counts, weights, and packaging details
- Collecting packing materials and keeping equipment clean
- Helping create smooth, stress-free moves for our customers
