About The Position
United Methodist Communities is currently seeking a Household Coordinator for Bristol Glen Senior Care Community located in Newton, NJ. This position is designed to provide person-directed care in a home-like environment, ensuring exceptional care and quality of life for our residents. The Household Coordinator will work closely with the Nurse Mentor to support the non-clinical aspects of the household, predominantly assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and ensuring that the overall needs of residents and their families are met. This role is crucial in meeting United Methodist Communities' policy objectives for the Household Model of Care, as well as adhering to state and federal guidelines for quality care. The Household Coordinator will be responsible for various tasks including answering call lights, assisting residents during mealtimes, transporting residents to and from activities, and collaborating with families. This position also involves problem-solving, establishing meeting schedules, monitoring the cleanliness of the household, participating in care plan meetings, managing the household schedule, and implementing resident service plans. Additionally, the Household Coordinator will monitor staffing schedules for CNAs and ensure that supplies are reordered in a timely manner. This role is essential in maintaining a high standard of care and ensuring that the needs of both residents and staff are met effectively.
