About The Position

Responsible for supervising and coordinating the operational activities of nursing, ancillary and support personnel in hospital-wide departments in the absence of the department manager/shift supervisor. Assumes broader responsibilities on the evening, night and/or weekend shift as the on-site administrator. Responsible to the Administrator On-Call and/or responsible Executive for notification of patient care concerns, equipment or associated supplies, and/or coordination of any facility-related events. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in an acute setting.
• Must possess a current California RN license and BLS.
• ACLS required within 90 days of hire or status change.
• PALS required within 90 days of hire or status change.
• Basic dysrhythmia required within 120 days of hire or status change.

Nice To Haves

• Previous house supervisor experience and/or progressive management experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• NRP preferred.
