The House Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising the delivery of safe, effective patient care, ensuring the quality of nursing practice, and maintaining clinical nursing practice skills and unit specific expertise. This role involves assigning duties and functions to staff based on their relative skills, training, and abilities. The House Supervisor directly supervises Charge Nurses, staff RNs, LVNs, and CNAs/Mental Health Workers, ensuring that all team members perform their respective duties in accordance with Hospital policy and standards of care. Additionally, the House Supervisor is responsible for all departments and operations of the facility in the absence of hospital administration.
