About The Position

HonorHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, in affiliation with Select Medical, is seeking a House Supervisor (RN) for the Day Shift in Scottsdale, AZ. This role involves working with a collaborative and team-oriented leadership team, managing a manageable caseload, and contributing to a high success rate of patients being discharged home from the hospital. The position offers competitive rates, shift differentials, and a full benefits package including Medical, Vision, Dental, 401k, PTO, and Tuition Assistance. Additionally, this position qualifies for the Loan Repayment Assistance program for full-time employees after their first 90 days.

Requirements

  • Valid state RN license required
  • Certified BLS before date of hire required
  • Certified ACLS or completion in first 6 months of employment required
  • BSN or enrollment in BSN program required
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse; 3 or more years experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity is required.

Nice To Haves

  • CRRN required after meeting eligibility requirements (2 years of Rehab nursing)

Responsibilities

  • Administers, directs and supervises the clinical care provided by the nursing staff, including Registered Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, and Unit Secretaries.
  • Serves as a resource and consultant for clinical nursing care rendered in the hospital.
  • Provides and oversees nursing care, safety, and quality while maintaining hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
  • Maintains approved standards of patient care by collaborating with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Assists with disciplinary issues, staff mentoring, and performance appraisals.
  • Provides oversight for the hospital in collaboration with and in the absence of the CNO.
  • Effectively communicates on multiple levels.
