About The Position

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification is required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.
• Two + years of behavioral health experience with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice, hospital policy, goals and objectives.
• Assist in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance Improvement efforts.
• Provide support to the nursing staff on all units.
• Work a shift on a specific unit when all other efforts in filling the shift with other personnel have been exhausted.
• Contribute to department meetings and quality initiatives.
• Maintain services within TJC requirements.
