The House Supervisor/Emergency Preparedness Coordinator is a Registered Nurse who provides leadership for hospital operations while guiding emergency management efforts at Grundy County Memorial Hospital (GCMH). Serving as the administrative representative during assigned shifts, this role ensures safe, high-quality patient care through coordination, supervision, and support of clinical teams, including direct charge nurse responsibilities in the Emergency Department. In addition to operational oversight, the position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining GCMH’s Emergency Management program. By fostering collaboration across disciplines and with community partners, the House Supervisor/Emergency Preparedness Coordinator promotes hospital readiness, facilitates disaster response, and supports recovery efforts while balancing the daily needs of patient care and long-term emergency preparedness planning.
