About The Position

The Installer works to safely assist the Crew Chief and team with efficient and set the setup of homes daily. This role is an essential part of the setup process and is responsible for owning numerous construction tasks independently, oftentimes helping train and support other team members as they grow in skill and responsibility.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in all outdoor conditions (extreme heat/cold, rain/snow) while leading and motivating teams.
  • Previous construction-related experience a plus which could be residential, commercial, industrial, mechanical, skilled trades (carpentry, masonry, etc.), excavation, etc.
  • Excellent driving record; CDL or additional driving certifications a plus.
  • Safety certifications (OSHA certifications, First Aid, CPR, etc.) a plus.
  • Comfortable with heights (using/safely climbing a ladder) and crawl spaces.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and assist with lifting and moving 100+ lbs.
  • Committed to a high level of customer satisfaction and takes pride in your work.
  • Able to stand, stoop, push, pull, bend and climb consistently throughout a workday.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to each home site and assist the team with necessary construction activities.
  • Load and unload materials, and keep the tools & trucks organized.
  • Help install vapor barriers beneath the home.
  • Gather materials for beginning piers and help build them.
  • Perform masonry work underneath the homes.
  • Help the team on jobsites with responsibilities such as prepping and cleaning the jobsite, basic masonry work, leveling of the home, installing door bars and supports, electrical and plumbing crossovers, removing tires, axles, and tongues, and other hands-on construction tasks.
  • Safely operate specialty heavy equipment, under the direction and supervision of leadership.
