About The Position
Houseperson/ Housekeeping When a guest walks into a hotel, the guest is wow’ed by the cleanliness and sparkle of the lobby and other areas of the hotel. A Houseperson is who makes all that happen. The Houseperson is responsible for keeping common areas of the hotel clean, making a guest feel welcome. Houseperson Responsibilities: Clean lobby, public bathrooms, and other common areas of the hotel Vacuum hallways and mop floors Clean tabletops in lobby and other common areas Remove trash from lobby and other common areas Assist with cleaning guest rooms as needed
Requirements
- Previous cleaning, janitorial experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Regularly moving, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holiday
